Growing up inside the Cape of Good Hope Table Mountain National Park, where my father served as park manager for three decades, I was immersed in the wild from the very beginning. My childhood and teenage years were spent in a game reserve—an upbringing that shaped my identity and ignited a lifelong passion for Africa’s landscapes and wildlife.
Following in my father’s footsteps, I trained as a dangerous-game wildlife guide and spent two decades of unforgettable years leading guests on vehicle, walking, and marine safaris across South Africa, Tanzania, Mozambique, Botswana, and Zimbabwe. My career later expanded into conservation, where I led an anti-poaching unit during South Africa’s peak rhino-poaching crisis and went on to manage anti-wildlife trafficking projects for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
After returning to the tourism and lodge industry, working in some of Africa’s most extraordinary safari destinations, I combined my love for scuba diving, wildlife photography, and conservation-driven exploration to create Echo Wild Africa.
Today, my mission is simple: to share the Africa I know and love—its raw beauty, untamed wilderness, and unforgettable adventure—with travellers who seek something truly authentic.
